Debbie Searle BSc Hons, HNDip, PMP, Member of PMI
A born organiser and planner, Debbie’s project management skills started to develop in early childhood. Always keen to plan and pack for family excursions, she made lists for everything and delegated tasks to her siblings (not willing project team members – but apparently you just couldn’t get the staff in those days).
Her career started in IT as a Software Developer and then Business Analyst. But she quickly realised her ambition and became a Project Manager. Debbie has filled a variety of project management roles gaining experience in the world of IT, Primary and Secondary Health, Education, Human Resources and Energy. She has also enjoyed the opportunities of introducing project management disciplines into organisations and providing staff training.
“Work hard, play hard”. Outside of work Debbie loves to rock climb, run, mountain bike and tramp. What a fantastic way to enjoy this beautiful country to which she emigrated from England over 11 years ago. And of course, for her, planning these activities and mitigating any risks is just part of the fun.
